Doby's Bridge offers many different ministry opportunities for our congregation. Participation in these ministries provides an opportunity for fun and education while at the same time providing an atmosphere of Christian growth. We highly encourage our members to participate in any of these ministry opportunities and welcome anyone wanting to become involved. A brief description of these ministries is below. Donna McMillian leads the music ministry, providing varied opportunities for musical expression. Adult and children's choir, handbells, ensembles, and praise teams are some of the ways that we incorporate music into Doby's Bridge worship experience.
Christian Education centers around Sunday morning classes that emphasize the teaching and discussion of God's Word. This is a central part of a Christian's growth. There are many classes to choose from and are available to almost any age group.
Keeping the covenant of helping to raise our children in the path of Christ, the children's ministry provides a fun, activity oriented focus.
Continuing where the Children's Ministry ends, our youth group provides fun fellowship and activities for our Jr. High and High School aged young men and women.
The Women's Circle(s) provides a Christ centered fellowship for the women of the church. Doby's Bridge has the Myra Bryant Women's Circle and the Women of Faith Circle available for any interested women looking for an opportunity to fellowship with a Christian emphasis.
Following the mandate to go out to all the world, spreading the good news of Jesus, the Missions Committee focuses on reaching out to our community, state, nation, and the world.
